Welcome to Design Dwellings, a home design inspiration site for people who love beautiful spaces.
Every post starts as a design concept: a balcony that feels like a tiny retreat, an apartment living room that finally works, a backyard made for slow evenings. For each idea we break down what makes it work — the layout, the color palette (with the exact hex codes, so you can match paint and fabrics), the materials and textures — and where to find the real pieces to recreate the look in your own home.
What you’ll find here:
- Room-by-room ideas for apartments, balconies, backyards, living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens
- Color palettes with copyable hex codes
- “Get the Look” guides with real products at a range of budgets
A note on our images: The spaces pictured on Design Dwellings are design concepts created with AI image tools. They’re inspiration to spark ideas, not photographs of real homes you can visit or buy. The design notes, palettes, and product picks that go with them are all real.

Thanks for stopping by. We hope you leave with at least one idea you’re excited to try.
